Aberdeen Standard Investments has changed the name of its funds. This follows the merger of Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life Investments in 2017.

The majority of the group's funds now start with "ASI", which replaces "Aberdeen" or "Standard Life Investments". The change helps to keep things consistent across their range of funds.

Below we've listed some of the group's most popular funds with our clients.

Old name New name
Aberdeen Asia Pacific Equity ASI Asia Pacific Equity
Aberdeen Emerging Markets ASI Emerging Markets
Aberdeen Latin American Equity ASI Latin American Equity
Standard Life Inv Global Smaller Companies ASI Global Smaller Companies
Standard Life Inv UK Equity Unconstrained ASI UK Equity Unconstrained
Standard Life UK Smaller Companies ASI UK Smaller Companies

Funds listed in alphabetical order.

The funds will still be managed in the same way, so we don't think investors need to take any action as long as they still meet their objectives. The ASI Asia Pacific Equity and ASI Latin American Equity funds currently feature on the Wealth 50 list of our favourite funds.
